Online Student Conflict Resolution Guidelines

If you have feedback related to a specific class, please contact your instructor directly.

The steps outlined below will help guide you through the process of resolving a conflict with an instructor.

Be respectful and allow the instructor to answer your questions and give explanations.

STEP 1: Contact your instructor–

  • You may need to schedule an appointment with your instructor to discuss the issue (email, live chat, phone call).
  • Identify your concerns and ask the instructor your questions regarding the issue(s) that you are experiencing.
  • Have pertinent materials readily available to reference when you communicate with your instructor.

STEP 2: If you and your instructor are unable to resolve the conflict, your next step is to–
