Connect with academic resources to support remote and online learning
Chemeketa provides a range of academic support resources accessible remotely and online.
Navigate
Use Navigate to schedule appointments with Academic Advising, the Tutoring Center, and the Writing Center. You must be a current student to access Navigate resources.
- Mobile App: download the Navigate Student app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Web Access: access the Chemeketa Navigate website.

Academic Advising
Meet with an Academic Advisor. Chemeketa offers academic advising for all current and prospective students. Its services include new and current student advising, prerequisite overrides, holds assistance, referrals to Chemeketa and community resources, assistance with appeals and academic plans, and graduation and transfer contacts and guides.

Library
Access Chemeketa Library resources. The libraries at Chemeketa provides access to a wide range of educational materials, including books and E-books, journals and databases, research papers, and other online resources. Students can connect with librarians for help with research and finding materials. They also help students navigate the library's resources and databases, provide guidance on research techniques, and help with citation and referencing.

Testing Center
Some remote and online classes may require in-person proctored testing. Check the course attributes in the class search for information about required in-person testing. Be sure to read your instructor’s syllabus for the approval process, locations, and deadlines. Students can schedule an appointment with the Chemeketa Testing Center to complete their exams at no cost. Contact the Testing Center for assistance with locating an approved proctor if you live outside of the college district areas.

Tutoring Center
Schedule an appointment with a peer tutor. Tutoring is available to Chemeketa students at no cost covering a variety of subjects. Meet with a tutor in-person and remotely via Zoom. To get started watch a video tutorial on How to Schedule a Tutoring Appointment using the Navigate Student app.
eTutoring
Chemeketa offers online eTutoring at no cost to students. eTutoring is available during early mornings, evenings and weekends for a wide variety of subjects. eTutors are from many different schools, including Chemeketa!
To access eTutoring, login to the My Chemeketa website and select the Studying tab. On the Tutoring & Study Skills page, scroll down and select the "Launch" button next to eTutoring for access to the Chemeketa eTutoring website.

Writing Center
Get help with your writing assignments. Meet for half an hour with a faculty member who teaches writing to improve your work. The service is available at no cost to students. You may schedule up to two appointments per week.
Students can use Navigate to schedule an appointment with the Writing Center. Appointments are available through Zoom or in-person inside the Library in Building 9 on the Salem campus.
Online Writing Center
Submit your paper to the Online Writing Center for written feedback. The Online Writing Center is a free service to Chemeketa students. You must first register for the Online Writing Center course available in Canvas. Once the course appears in your Canvas dashboard, submit a paper the same way you would submit an assignment.
Register using Class Search. Login to the My Chemeketa website and select Registration to access Class Search. Select "Enter a CRN" and use one of the following course registration numbers to register.
- Fall: CRN 34213
- Winter: CRN 54439
- Spring: CRN 73914
- Summer: CRN 14128
