Chemeketa’s college-owned bookstore has comparison pricing. Now you can see the bookstore prices along with other online vendors. Shop and compare from one site. The bookstore is open for online orders well in advance before the next term begins.
Disability services accommodates distance students as it would campus students. Accommodation letters can help a student work with an instructor for special resources or deadline adjustments.
Steps to apply for Disability Services
Online tutoring is available to full-time and part-time students currently enrolled in credit classes. We offer assistance in most subject areas.
Please take the eLearning Orientation to see if online classes are right for you. This orientation will help you learn what is required to be successful in online learning. It will also help you figure out:
- if your computer is adequate for online learning at Chemeketa
- decide whether your learning style and computer skills are well-matched to online learning
- become acquainted with how to log on and use eLearn (our online course software)
- discover various assistance options
Many types of financial assistance may be available to Chemeketa students including scholarships and federal financial aid. Complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as early as possible each year; the process can take 6-9 months. January 1st is the first day to apply for an academic year. Library Services – You can visit the Chemeketa Community College Library online and find information about the library, related services and staff. Students can access over 100,000 ebooks and 21,000 digital periodicals. Help is available 24/7 via Chat.
Online Writing Center
This service helps Chemeketa Online students with a writing project in any subject area. Writing Center faculty and teaching assistants provide written responses to your writing (usually within 48 hours) after you’ve posted it in Blackboard.
Testing Center ProctorU & Proctored Tests
Some online classes require proctored tests. It is the responsibility of the student to locate an approved proctor. Carefully read your instructor’s syllabus for the approval process, locations, and deadlines.
