Notice Regarding Electronic Communications and Use of Electronic Signature for Online Courses

I authorize Chemeketa Community College to accept all correspondence transmitted by me via electronic mail from the e-mail address that I have submitted for online courses as my valid, original work. In addition, I certify that all communication sent from this address or any other address that I later may provide for online class purposes, shall be "upon my signature," and acceptable as replacement for my written signature.

Due to technological limitations that are inherent in the use of the Internet, I understand that I am not guaranteed confidentiality of information that is transmitted to and from Chemeketa Community College relating to my online course. Consequently, I release Chemeketa Community College from all liability related to the inadvertent release of confidential information.

My enrollment in this class constitutes my agreement that my electronic mail signature will be used as a valid and binding signature and that I am not guaranteed confidentiality of information transmitted electrically by myself, Chemeketa Community College, or others.

If you do not agree with the conditions set forth above, you must officially withdraw from this class.
