How to do a Registration Override
Faculty can override a closed course or increase its capacity to allow late registration for students. It is important that you have the student's 'K' number as that is what the system uses to look up a student.
- Log on to My Chemeketa. Browse to: my.chemeketa.edu and choose the School Services tab.
- Choose Registration Overrides. From the Faculty Services Menu, choose "registration overrides". The current term may be pre-selected so click the Submit button.
- Search for the student. On the ID Selection screen, enter the student's 'K' number. If the K number is not presently available, try entering the exact spelling of the student's name. Submit. The system should display the full name of the student for your verification. If it is correct, click Submit.
- Choose the type of override and the class. There are several types of overrides. The most common ones would either be a "Class Capacity" override if the class is full and you are willing to add one more, or the "Signature Req'd" if the term has already begun or it is considered late registration. In some instances, you will need both of these.
Below the Overrides form you can scroll down to view the student's schedule if needed.
