The link above will open a window that will install a few components on your computer. After the install is completed you can select the floppy or hard drive on your computer to scan for viruses. This free utility will clean many common types of viruses.

NOTE: Not all viruses will be able to be cleaned. Please pay close attention to any notices the program gives you. They will contain information needed to clean some of the very complex virus or trojan programs.  In some cases, the recommendation may be to buy a full version of an anti-virus program or link to a site with specialized cleaning tools.
